Dita Guha
Dita is the first-born daughter of Bengali Indian immigrants. She grew up witnessing her parents’ tenacious work ethic, courage, and perseverance. At just eight years old, Dita got her first job answering phones at her father’s business. Dita’s strong work ethic has helped her build a successful career and law practice. In 2008, after completing her master’s degree, Dita worked as a paralegal at one of the largest Injury law firms in Chicago. Dita would later obtain her law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. During law school, Dita was selected as a teaching assistant to Professor Michelle Cue (a professor of Legal Writing). She also served as a research assistant to Professor Zoe Robinson (a professor of Constitutional Law). Dita is an excellent researcher, writer, and in-court advocate – traits which, in combination, are extremely rare among legal practitioners.
Dita is licensed in both Illinois and Indiana. She has a vast amount of experience in large-scale litigation for corporate clients and serving the complex litigation needs of individuals in need. Presently, Dita concentrates her practice in the areas of municipal law, insurance defense, and complex civil litigation.
